Welcome to our humble abode! We are Gopinathan and Babi Gopinath, a retired couple whose love for hospitality has led us to embark on a new chapter of our lives – running a cozy homestay for travelers like yourself.
After years of dedicated service to our professions, we found ourselves yearning for a slower pace, a chance to savor the simple joys of life. As we approached retirement, we realized that our greatest joy lay in connecting with people from different walks of life. We've always cherished the moments spent with friends and family, gathering around the table, sharing stories, and building cherished memories. It was this passion for creating meaningful connections that sparked the idea of opening our home to travelers seeking to explore Guruvayur.
From the moment you step through our gates, you will be enveloped in a warm embrace, greeted by the comforting scents of home-cooked meals and the genuine smiles that have become our signature. Here at our homestay, we believe that hospitality is an art form, and we pour our hearts into every detail to create an experience that exceeds expectations.

Guruvayoor temple is a divine destination where devotees come to pray, conduct weddings, naming or feeding ceremonies of their children or make offerings to Lord Krishna. It is also visited by tourists coming to Kerala to visit nearby temples, beaches, elephant sanctuaries, and backwaters. Our homestay is ideal for an overnight stay if you plan to engage in any of these events.
What you experience is an independent house located 15 minutes away from the temple. We have a reception area, a common drawing cum dining room, four independent bedrooms, a kitchen, and an open terrace. We have ample parking space, a green cover with various fruit & vegetable plants, two natural ponds with fishes, and a small temple to give you a completely homely feeling. We have 100% power backup, solar water heaters, a good Wi-fi connection, an uninterrupted water supply, and air-conditioned bedrooms to ensure you have a pleasant stay.
